No, it’s Ramblin’ man… I got the words wrong.

Know what I want to do? I want to go to Vancouver. Not right now, but soon.

I have been to the U.S.’s west coast, but I have never been to Canada’s west coast. I have friends there and I have family there. My grandfather who is a pastor lives there, and we have tons to talk about.

I think the most fun thing to do would be to start out from California, and road trip it up to B.C. through Oregon and Washington.

Then where would I go from there? There’s no telling. That’s the awesome part.

It feels like the day is still just starting, even thought it’s half past five in the afternoon. My awaking process today was the same as it’s been all week. I had collapsed into bed exhausted at night and sleeping is just having a quick rest before getting back to work so I snap my eyes open and pull the computer towards me while I’m still groggy-eyed and can’t focus.

Today is the day, the official launch of SuperParty. It’s very exciting but nerve-wracking. I just hope you good people get a kick out of it. So far the feedback has been positive and the numbers are good.

I so want to rest and just play Guitar Hero or something but I keep checking every page obsessively, thinking “is there anyone I still need to e-mail? Do I need to fix any text? Are all of the titles and graphics looking good?” And now I’m here writing about it instead of just doing it or not.

Looking very forward to when there’s several weeks worth of pages up. It’s gonna be lots of fun.

If you haven’t seen it yet, go have a look at SeanWardSuperParty.com to see the start of what I am sure will be at least a five year journey.

I’ve been trying to come up with a single page story for a guest stripp on Dumm Comics and I finally think I’ve got something. I was watching Bob Dylan: No Direction Home and it was at the part where he goes electric at the Newport Folk Festival and all of a sudden something popped into my head: The Benny Bunny Blues Band. And a story just tumbled out from there. Now to draw it!

So yeah, SeanWardSuperParty.com, party people in the place to be.

So what do you think? Should I put my insider art tips and comics stuff on the blog at seanwardsuperparty.com and keep seanward.net purely for lifestyle blogging? Or keep it all in one handy spot?

Here is something new…

It’s really hard to draw a woman if you’re trying too hard to make her look pretty or sexy. If you concentrate on what’s unique about her, chances are she’s going to come out pretty and sexy. The Queen has a big ass. She has been way easier to draw ever since realizing that and sticking with it instead of trying to draw a magazine model in her costume.

Now, in this picture, what is Benny Banana doing going for a ride in The Queen’s hot air balloon? Why is he weeping while she’s C.C.C. (Cool Calm Collect)?

Guess you will have to find out when SuperParty starts on June 12!

I gasped when I saw this.

Here’s Scott McCloud giving at talk about comics at an event where the speakers are the biggest thinkers in the culture.

I love Big Ideas. I listen to lectures and read thick textbooks on business, science, technology, and the future for fun. I am well familiar with the T.E.D. Conference because I have been listening to their lectures for a couple of years.

I love comics. Not much more to say about that.

And now here they are together in one convenient package!

You’re welcome.
