After many late nights going through my files and compiling it all together, I am very proud and pleased to show you my brand new 2010 Portfolio!
I have experienced the same thing again and again in my career. I’m on the other side of a desk from a publisher or a TV producer who has just seen my comic books, my videos, or my ideas for a TV show. He or she loves what they see, but they point out that it’s very hard for someone in their position to tell at a glance what I do.
I put together my 2010 Portfolio as a means of addressing that issue. I have put together all of my activities in comics, TV, art, and design and put it in one place in a way that I hope makes it clear that what I do, as it says on the second page of the portfolio, is drive awareness and sales by using art and design to create eventful, meaningful, and buzzworthy interactions with your brand.
More than drawing comics, making silly videos, or performing shows, what I do is look around at what a client or partner has on the go that’s working for them, uncover what’s there that they might be under-utilizing, and figure out what I can add to it with my art, design, and performance style to make something exciting go on. I like causing a scene, I like making things for people to take home and remember us by, and I really like finding out that what we’ve done has resulted in increased ratings/sales, audience participation, and revenue.
Have a look at my 2010 Portfolio (click here, on the image below, or on the link in the sidebar to the right) and get in touch if I can come fun-up your scene.
