You Won’t Believe It

Talk about timing! First day in San Francisco yesterday and my camera stops working. You can feel it try to open the lens when you turn it on, but the lens doesn’t open then the screen says “Lens Error”.

Reason #8573858648 to buy Canon instead of Nikon. Every other camera I’ve ever owned has been a Canon and I have never had a problem with one of them aside from them getting lost or stolen.

I know people who swear by Nikon so maybe their high-end stuff is the bomb. But their point-and-shoots are quite another story.

What I'd give for a Nikon SLR (I shoot with a Canon Rebel XS, currently)! *dies*

But general consensus from my photographer peeps is that Canon is definitely better in the point-n-click dept. Do you have a specific model in mind you're going to get?

Nope. I have had three different Canons before and I loved every one of them.

Yeah, cameras seem to have an innate sense for when the most inconvenient time to stop working would be.

I met Emma Caulfield (Anya from Buffy) at fan expo and my camera decided not to save probably the only picture I will ever get with her!
