Raymi put up a little questionnaire on her blog that read as though it was some Facebook thing where you tag people, and then they fill it out and tag people.

I love those Facebook questionnaires, and there are tons of new people arriving at this site all the time so now is a good time for some Get-To-Know-You action.

1. What time did you get up this morning?

Noon which was a rare treat.  I set the alarm for 10 AM daily and I’m drawing or checking e-mail by 10:30.

2. How do you like your steak?

dripping red all over the place.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema?

Public Enemies.  The last movie I saw at the cinema and really liked it was Star Trek.

4. What are your favorite TV shows?

The Daily Show/Colbert Report, 30 Rock, Chowder, Spongebob.

5. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?

At this stage, I just want to keep doing what I did last winter: try out all different places where it doesn’t snow.  A mountain in Costa Rica, a boathouse in Europe, a place by the beach in Santa Monica, all of those sound wonderful and I want to do them all for a stretch at a time.

6. What did you have for breakfast?

Bagel & Cream Cheese.  But only because I didn’t have any eggs.  I like eggs & salsa with avocado.

7. What is your favorite cuisine?

Indian.  Maybe Mexican.

8. What foods do you dislike?

Most raw vegetables.  I know they’re better for you that way, but I love love love ‘em just slightly cooked.

9. Favorite Place to Eat?

In-N-Out Burger.

10. Favorite dressing?

Uh…. dressing is not such a big deal that I can think of one in particular.  I’ll usually go with French in a salad bar situation.

11.What kind of vehicle do you drive?

The back seat of a taxi-cab.

12. What are your favorite clothes?

crisp new shirt, loose tie, trousers, sneakers.

13. Where would you visit if you had the chance?

San Francisco and southern California.  Less than a month!!!!

14. Cup 1/2 empty or 1/2 full?

Half full.  Always on the way up.

15. Where would you want to retire?

This will reveal itself after I’ve seen and learned all I am questing for from the answer to number five.

16. Favorite time of day?

Midnight to three AM.  It feels like one big long moment, and it’s when all the best stuff happens.  I also like the mid afternoon under the right circumstances.

17. Where were you born?

18. What is your favorite sport to watch?

The homo sapiens mating ritual in any given small town bar.

19. Who do you think will not tag you back?

22. Bird watcher?

If you mean bird in the ‘Beatlemania’ sense, then for sure.

23. Are you a morning person or a night person

Night.

24. Do you have any pets?

I named my mother’s dog and I go take it out all the time.  Her name is Lemon!

The first piece of my three contributions to The Beatles Revolution 9.9.9 Art Show is being made available to you first, before the show.

26. What did you want to be when you were little?

A comics creator and movie director.  Getting there, inch by inch.

27. What is your best childhood memory?

Putting on lip-sync concerts for the neighborhood out of the back of our townhouse with my mother, sister, and cousin.  At our house, we had all of the hits of the day so all the kids came and sat in the backyard while we put on a show.

28. Are you a cat or dog person?

A dog person.  I love all of God’s creatures, but I would rather have a dog if I was going to have a pet.

29. Are you married?

No.  Neither of my parents think I ever will be, but I probably will.  I am a bit traditional as regards this issue.

30. Always wear your seat belt?

For sure.

31. Been in a car accident?

Some close calls, but no.  My mother taught me the trick of putting on your cloaking device to avoid police attention and accidents.

32. Any pet peeves?

“Your” when it should be “you’re”.  

33. Favorite Pizza Toppings?

Pineapple, Ham, extra cheese.

34. Favorite Flower?

Creeping Purple Phlox.  Very common in Southern Ontario:

Mint Chocolate anything.

36. Favorite fast food restaurant?

In-N-Out Burger

37. How many times did you fail your driver’s test?

I haven’t taken one yet.  And yet…

38. From whom did you get your last email?

39. Which store would you choose to max out your credit card?

A high-end retro furniture store

40. Do anything spontaneous lately?

Laying low, not much spontaneous going on.  Too much to plan around to be ready for San Francisco.

41. Like your job?

Love it.  But I sure wish it paid better.

I haven’t been out to dinner in ages and ages! I can’t even remember specifically which was the last time…

Red.  Flashy, means business, gets the job done.

zero.  Never even dyed my hair!
