When Benny Bunny On Wheels came out, it had been two and a half years since I had put out a comic book. Back in 2004, the six months between this book and the previous one felt like forever. This book is the beginning of my exploration of the idea that reality really is what we say it is, and begins with a real-life event. One of the street people I saw often came up to me to look at my comics and got into telling me about how he was the subject of an experiment conducted by the US government teaming up with a race of alien vampires. I was fascinated by this guy, and thinking about how none of us can really say that he’s mistaken spiraled out and turned into this comic book in which I get roped into this whole thing and become pivotal in the aliens’ mission to destroy the earth.
