It’s the Weekend Freestyle!  And since this is the first edition not only of the Weekend Freestyle but of any of these new daily features, I thought that I would explain what it is that’s going on around here.

Remember The Sean Ward Show?  The Sean Ward Show was a series of live events.  Each event was an episode of a fake TV show, with videos put on a screen beside the stage and the party scene happening all around you.  The movies we made were crowd-pleasers, and what I accomplished with those events led to my being scouted to go to work in television.  And while I was working on that TV show, things were pretty quiet from me where this website and original Sean Ward content were concerned.

Now it’s two years later and I’m going solo.  The Sean Ward Show is back.  The Sean Ward Show isn’t a blog, it isn’t a podcast, and it isn’t a website.  It’s all of those things and more, all at the same time.  It’s a format that gives me the flexibility to explore all of my creative interests, and it’s a structure that keeps me prolific.

Anything goes in the Weekend Freestyle.  I will do whatever I want.  You might get pictures, a dirty limerick, a video, nonsense, venting, or moments of over-jubilance.  I’m sure that some of these will be sheer brilliance, others not-so-brilliant.

So that’s that. 

I’m going to go see The Dark Knight tonight. 

I got a haircut today.
