Before we get into this post, let me ask you if I look crazy enough in this picture. Crazy is what I’m going for. Did I pull it off? OK. Good.
Now on an inauspicious Saturday night, there was once a bunch of silly people in a car who invented a new game. This game is called “Hey Guys!” It is the new game sensation that’s sweeping the nation.
Here are the silly people in the car we’re talking about….
It’s Graham & Dwayne from Wildlife, and Scott Hyde! Scott, you got a link I can put in here?
When Scott comes into a room, I like to sing to him, like I do to so many people. I give people theme songs. So for Scott, I sing the end from Kanye’s Touch the Sky only instead of “I’m… I’m…. sky high…” I’ll sing “I’m… I’m… Scott Hyde….”
You want a theme song? You should hang out more!
Michelle is driving the car which you can see here in a photo that probably would have been very flattering if not for the lousy composition:
OK, so here’s how the game called “Hey Guys!” works. You take your camera and drive past where people are. As you pass, you shout “Hey Guys!” in a friendly and excited tone as if you’re really happy to see these people. Then you snap a picture!
Sometimes the one person that looks doesn’t look too impressed.
Sometimes the one person who looks is very excited to take part.
Sometimes no one looks, and you’re glad you lucked out with the interesting lighting effect where the Sobey’s sign goes through some dude’s head.
Sometimes everybody looks and then when you lower the camera, the guy in the foreground and three of his friends look like they want to give you trouble.
Sometimes you don’t need to shout anything because this girl is already doing a wild dance solo in the middle of the street. It’s a bum deal when she stops as soon as she catches sight of the camera. Boooooo! Thumbs down! But thumbs up for the dancing, sister. We love you.
What are the chances that these three people would all happen to be in the same place at the same time to be in the same picture?? What are the chances?????
And when you need a break from playing “Hey Guys” you can, as Scott is doing, play Rock-Paper-Scissors with the guy in the next car at the stoplight. Scott beat this guy three games to one.
And when you’re all tuckered out from a hard session of Hey Guys, you can always climb into the bucket of a bulldozer for a little nap.
Of course, as soon as one person gets involved with the bulldozer, everyone wants to play!
Happy Hey Guysing!!!
